As of Thursday April 28th  2022, the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment will be increasing the requirements to protect  against Khapra Beetle infestations.

 

Additional Requirements: Off-shore inspections by Official Government entities & Phytosanitary Certificates issued

 

Non-Compliance: Will result in destruction or re-export of shipments

 

Those Effected:  Other-risk plant products & seeds for sowing

“Seeds, Nuts, Green Coffee Beans, Dried Vegetables (Including mushrooms), Dried Fruit,

Herbs and Spices, Plant gums and Resins, Processed Seed, Unprocessed Plant Products,

tuber and corm products (Including flours, meals and flakes).”
