We have received news to confirm that the Fair Work Commission (FWC) have received applications for approval of DP World Enterprise Agreement 2024 for each of the DP World Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Fremantle terminals.

The four (4) year agreements, agreed back on the 2nd of February 2024 and coming after almost four (4) months of protected industrial action, are now under review by the Fair Work Commission (FWC) and will bind DP World, its relevant Employees, and the Maritime Union of Australia through to the nominal expiry date of 31 January 2028. 

Further to the above we have received notice of an authorised stop work meeting at the DP World Sydney terminal:

Short Description:To all carriers
Please be advised that there will be an authorised stop work meeting at our Sydney Terminal on Monday, 1st May 2024 from 1000hrs until 1400hrs.

All terminal operations will cease during this period.

The stop work meeting is part of two (2) authorised four (4) hour meetings per annum.
