As the WA Labour Day holiday approaches on Monday, 3rd March 2025, we want to update our valued customers on important changes to container operations over the long weekend.
What’s Happening?
Vessels will continue to berth, discharge, and depart during the public holiday. However, please be aware that significant penalty rates on operating costs will apply during this period.
Long Weekend Surcharge
A surcharge per container will be applied to all containers, subject to availability during the long weekend. This surcharge will be collected directly from the terminal and is essential to prevent incurring additional wharf storage charges.
Why is this Necessary?
The surcharge helps cover the increased costs of operating during a public holiday. It ensures we can continue providing our services without delays or additional fees that might arise from storage costs.
