Late yesterday afternoon we received confirmation MUA will extend work bans at DP World through to the end of the month.
In addition to 2-hour stoppages across all shifts on Monday, January 22, this has been extended to the following days.
– January 23
– January 24
– January 29 (next Monday week)
These continued actions reduce DP World landside throughput by a minimum of 25%. (conservative estimate)
Unfortunately, this will only further impact vessel delays, congestion, increased load/unload times & all the associated costs that go along with it.
